Discography > CCC 2007: the Best of CCC02-06
Did you know?
Over five albums, there have been 17 CCC musicians in totalWhat is the favourite CCC song of all time?
Well we all knew that it was coming: a best-of! It's been good to look back
at the evolution of Crazy Christmas Carols, from a collection of one-take wonders
to an album full of new arrangements, originals, and old favourites in their mass-instrumentalised
glory.
It's been exciting to see that we've recorded 63 tracks over these five albums, including 35 different carols. It's been difficult for everyone to select the best tracks to go on this CD. It's also been disturbing to see that some carols have been done almost every year, and hence will now be put to rest for a little while.
A huge thankyou to all the CCCarollers, especially those who have stuck with this project, year after year. Thanks to the EDSC music department for getting many of us started on our quest to make music a little bit crazy. Thanks to those who buy the CD every year. Thanks to Christ for starting Christmas itself.
We hope you enjoy every minute of the best bits of the past five CCCs. But have no fear, this is not the end of CCC. We are simply in neutral while changing gears for a Crazier, Christmassier, Carolier CCC2008. Until then, Merry Christmas!
